He moved to Kuwait after the “Six day war”
– Completed primary, intermediate, and secondary education in the schools of Kuwait.
– Holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Kuwait University.
– Became a member of the Jordanian Engineers Association. (JEA)
– Chaired the Association of Palestinian Students at Kuwait University for two terms (1983–1985).
In 1991 He moved from Kuwait to Jordan during the first American-Iraqi war.
– Relocated to London, United Kingdom.
He began his profession in journalism and became a member of the National Union of Journalists (NUJ), also member of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ).
Co-founded the Palestinian Return Centre (PRC) in 1996 and served as its chairman until 2020.
He holds a Master’s degree in Refugee Studies from the University of East London, UK.
Co-founded the Palestinians in Europe Conference in 2003 and chaired it until 2021.
Moved to live in the German capital, Berlin, in 2014.
A writer, researcher, and author specializing in the Palestinian cause, particularly the issue of refugees and the right of return.
Co-founded the Popular Conference for Palestinians Abroad in 2017 and serves as the First Deputy Chairman of the General Authority.
Co-founded the Palestinians in Europe Initiative for National Action. He is a member of its coordination office and served as the General Coordinator for one administrative term.
Authored the book “Closer to Return” (In Arabic).
Palestinian Popular Action in Europe – Achievements, Challenges, and Prospects: The Experiences of the Palestinian Return Centre and the Palestinians in Europe Conference as Models, co-authored with Mr. Maher Hijazi.
– Co-founded numerous Palestinian grassroots institutions worldwide.
– Actively participated in dozens of conferences, seminars, panel discussions, and workshops around the world on matters related to the Palestinian cause.
Co-founded the European Palestinian Council for Political Relations (EUPAC) and continues to serve as its chairman.
He launched his new book, *”Palestinian Popular Action in Europe: Achievements, Challenges, and Prospects,”* authored by Majed Al-Zeer and Maher Hijazi.
